WICKED MARAYA is BACK with a NEW 5 Song EP – ‘CHAPTERS’

 

Formed in 1983, New York’s WICKED MARAYA enjoyed success during the 90’s releasing 3 CD’s – The highly successful debut CD ‘Cycles’, ‘No Hope For Humanity..?’ and ‘COUNTERCULTURE’.  The Band toured the US and Europe as Headliners and also as support for some of the biggest names in the metal world: Metal Church, Dee Snider, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ratt, Dokken, & Skyclad.

 

In 2016, WICKED MARAYA signed with Massacre Records for the release of the 1991 true debut recording ‘Lifetime In Hell’.  2 new songs were recorded, Fall From Grace and Suicidal Dawn, as well as a video for Suicidal Dawn.  Radio, Press and Fan support was overwhelming, and even though some time had passed, WICKED MARAYA realized they still had an impact in the music scene.

 

In early 2023, the time was right to continue the Story, and FALCO, John & Michael Iadevaio began the writing sessions for the new Project.  Pre-production and initial recording was done in NY @ Front Row Recording, with John Iadevaio Producing.  Final recording was done in PA @ Soundmine Recording with Daniel Malsch handling the Mixing. The result is ‘CHAPTERS’ – A sonic experience with moody, emotional layers, heavy grooves, big melodic vocals and thought-provoking lyrics.

 

Along with returning Drummer Rob Liano, WICKED MARAYA shot a video for the song “CHAPTER V” with renowned Videographer & Director Tom J. Flynn.

 

Once again teaming with Massacre Records, WICKED MARAYA is ready to unleash ‘CHAPTERS’ to the world and look forward to creating more music and returning to the stage in 2024!!!
